You've Decided to Participate!
That's Great! Let's Get Started!
Step One: Decide What you Would Like to Count
It's your choice - you can count birds, plants, mushrooms, butterflies,
or everything and anything in nature!
Step Two: Choose your Team and Location
You can go solo or form a team!
Count in your backyard, local park, nature center, school yard or anywhere else!
Or, join the NBNC team in Montpelier, for more information call Chip @ 802-229-6206!
Step Three: Recruit Sponsors
Visit your relatives, friends or neighbors and ask them to support you by pledging a
set dollar amount or an amount per species counted!

Step Four: Count
Get out there on Saturday, May 17th, to count your chosen species -
don't forget to record what you count so you can show your sponsors
